INFORMATION FOR GROUP COURSES

Sirius Wilderness Medicine specializes in offering wilderness first aid programs designed around the specific needs of groups and organizations. This package is intended as a guide to assist you in developing a course or wilderness first aid training program. For further information please send us the group information request form or contact our office.

CUSTOM DESIGNED COURSES

Wilderness first aid and medical programs offered by Sirius may be modified to accommodate the needs of specific clients. Custom designed courses offer the advantages of a conveniently located program which is conducted at a time most appropriate to the group or organizer. If your group or organization would like to sponsor a course please send us the group information request form or contact our office.

LOCATION

Sirius instructors will travel to your location to conduct a course. For courses held in remote regions instructor travel and accommodation expenses may be added to course costs. If you have an interested group but do not have access to a facility we may be able to provide one.

COST

Course fees for contract courses may vary depending upon location and group size. A deposit of half the course fees is required to reserve a course. The balance of fees is due prior to the start of the course. Course fees do not include applicable sales taxes which vary among provinces and states.

GROUP SIZE

Minimum group size for a custom course is 12 participants. If you wish to conduct your own course but do not have sufficient numbers please contact our office. Sirius may be able to assist you in attaining the minimum number required through collaboration with other groups or individuals.

ADVERTISING YOUR COURSE

Sirius may assist you in promoting your program: accept registration from our head office, post your course on our web site, add the course to our regularly up-dated and widely distributed schedule, and provide colored posters. Sirius representatives may also be available to conduct presentations and seminars on a variety of topics related to wilderness first aid and safety.
